Our story follows the tale of the Balmer, the “Stone Folk”. They aren’t Dwemer but the two races are closely related. We are aware that in the Elder Scrolls universe the Dwemer were not short and are in fact, elves. By playing through DoKD you’ll learn the history of the Balmer and their relationship to the Dwemer race.
This is a part of the story line so you’ll need to play to find out!

Yes, all characters are voiced by professional voice actors.
All of the characters and places in the mod are named after guild members of the Mithril Warhammers. The attitudes and choices the characters make are all based on real people, well, at least real people role-playing Dwarves!

Dwarves of Karak Dok will be released in three chapters. Eventually when all three are complete you’ll be able to download and play through the mod as a single story. The three chapters are for the release schedule so that you can play through parts as we complete them instead of needing to wait a very long time for us complete all three.
When it’s released it will be available via Nexus, Steam Workshop, and our website.
